Idler Magazine is a British bi-monthly publication and cultural movement dedicated to the ethos of "idling". Launched in 1993 by author Tom Hodgkinson and designer Gavin Pretor-Pinney, it champions a philosophy of slowing down, escaping the traditional 9-to-5 rat race, and embracing a life of freedom, creativity, and leisure.
